Simple Edification for My Sisters

Greetings sisters,

How are you? Hopefully standing strong on the truth of Christ in the midst of a wicked deceived world. As a sister and I were sharing about, how we've been there in all the varying sin and deception and false ways...and we don't want it anymore!

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:14-16

Oh amen aren't the days evil! And sometimes we sisters are sheltered from much being in our homes going about our business. But I know it's wicked out there and some may be more on the front lines of the battle! And it's a spiritual battle! And we get to all encourage one another on and bear burdens...even if we may all be scattered on this earth. Praise God for communication to reach out and we use it for good and God's glory! And this blog is one way to edify and encourage you sisters...or any who may find this. And then I cherish the one on one daily personal communication or group messaging with a few of you sisters who love the Lord. That is a gift from the Lord.

I'm grateful for my sisters who truly love the Lord above all else. And we know our love is shown in obeying Him. What kind of love would it be if we said we loved God and did not even try one bit to please and obey Him? Or did so half heartedly? Or even doing most...but keeping that tiny bit back that we don't want to let go of. That would be trying to keep a part of our selves or being our own god or something. But our love for Him is all because of what He has first done for us; His love, mercy, grace and truth in Jesus Christ! What hope He offered us!

And we as His daughters also love righteousness! We're in good company with our God Himself and His Son Jesus Christ loving righteousness and hating sin. Let us remember the truth and not what man likes to say about these things. We don't want to be deceived sisters!

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Hebrews 1:8-9

It is right for us women to remember why we were created...to be helpers to the men. It is right...for us to be keepers at home, to be sober minded, to cover our heads, to not adorn our bodies, to not usurp authority, to not steal, to not speak evil one of another, to love one another, to submit to husbands, to give thanks in everything, to love our enemies, to be kind, to have a meek and quiet spirit, to diligently follow every good work and on and on. Praise God we have His Word which shows us these things. We have it available to all of us and we cannot be without excuse if we don't look into it. But those who have been born by the Spirit desire holiness and righteousness.

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 4:23-24

And how encouraging, Jesus said we are blessed to do so! Rejoice sisters!

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:6

And I share some pretty clouds and flowers on my evening walk...

Glory to our great Creator for it all!

Thank you sisters for sharing these verses today...

Do the will of God...let us do that sisters! What a blessing to be the family of Christ!

Amen I love that! Praise God!

You have a good day sister saints standing fast and looking unto Jesus! Lord willing I will be back here tomorrow...and so will you be:-)

Love to you in Christ our Saviour,

Sister Michaela
