Hold Fast!

Greetings sisters!

Rejoice we get one more day to live for the Lord! What have each of you been doing? I'm sure Titus 2 works unto the Lord and other good works in Him. We are to do all things unto Him aren't we sisters!

We know we are living in a wicked world amen sisters...so much lust of the eyes and flesh and the pride of life. None of which is of the Father.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1 John 2:16-17

Let's us be those who do God's will...and will abide forever!

And we know we reap what we sow sisters.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:7-10

Let's sow to the Spirit, sisters and not the flesh. Praise God for His Word sisters! It's so much better than my words so I know they will edify you.

I read you some from 1 John 3.

Sisters we each had to count the cost to follow Christ. We know it is to lose our own life and each day we have to choose His ways over ours. Let's read this...

And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?

Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,

Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.

So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Luke 14:25-35

So sisters let us be those who knew the cost and followed through till the end. Christ is worthy!

Thankyou sister for this one...

And I made this one for a sister. I was thinking about how when we go through trials and have to endure hearing things of this world that we long for Christ's return. And yes that would be glorious wouldn't it sisters but in the meantime we ought to be doing what He wants amen!

Amen!

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
