Greetings this day to my sisters who love the Lord!
I hope you are standing strong and have overcome any issues in the strength of the Lord.

I read you a chapter of scripture to go along with this post. Just some edification from scripture to be aware and hold fast to the traditions we have been taught in the Word.
Let's not get swayed by what is going on around us and know there are deceivers abounding. Let us be sure it is the true faith once delivered to the saints that we are following and contending for.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jude 1:3
2 Thessalonians 2
A sister was sharing with me how we know satan can do miracles and signs and wonders...yet people are following them today claiming they are of God. Let us know that, sisters...and know we are in a spiritual battle and let us fear God!
And I share some scripture pictures that go along with being aware of what we hear and what people teach lest we be deceived.
Yes sisters we see that all over in man made religion don't we. And you can read the context of that verse and we are told that the way is narrow and to test all by their fruits.
And what are some fruits we may be looking for to see if someone is of the true God?
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all

and righteousness
and truth;)
Ephesians 5:9
But the fruit of the Spirit is
love
joy
peace
longsuffering
gentleness
goodness
faith
Meekness
temperance:
against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Test all things sisters...cling to the holy scriptures!
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Let us be sober and vigilant sisters.
We have so much truth revealed in Christ and His Word! We are blessed to have so much! We can overcome in the Lord!

Yes...let us fear the Lord to obey Him.
God's order in His creation.
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1 Corinthians 11:3
(Then we know it goes on to say that because of that a woman ought to cover her head.)
And another thing it reminded me of was that He has order in the body too.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints...Let all things be done decently and in order.
1 Corinthians 14:33,40
He is the Head and we must follow what He has for us in how things are to be done. And the women are to be silent when the body gathers...again going back to man being the head of woman which also relates to what happened in the garden when the woman was deceived. She then led her husband/the man astray. Let us not step out of our order, sisters. God is a God of order. Let us do things His way. We must if we are His.
And that goes along with what I wrote about earlier about being on guard for deception. Remember Eve/the woman was first deceived. Satan asked her if God really had said something. Yes He had and let us not question what He has told us today. (Remember Paul and the other apostles also wrote commandments of God, 1 Corinthians 14:37.). And also let us not be looking for things extra or 'signs and wonders' that so many are seeking after. (Remember satan can do much too.)
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1 Corinthians 1:22-24
Another thing that picture reminded me of is how we have to work hard to bring order out of chaos...like a pile of fabric scraps made into a useful product.
And you all have those messes that seem to just appear in homes that we have to fight against to bring back into order.
We see so much order in God's creation...everything working together to sustain life and do what it was created to.
The sun rising and setting
The water evaporating and condensing and raining back to earth and over and over
The flowers growing and the insects and wind helping to pollinate them and we get food from them and life continues on.
And on and on
That also reminds me of how we have to work to overcome our flesh and crucify it after we come to Christ and are born of God's Spirit. Praise God for the blood of Christ and that we get to be new creations in Him! And then we get to work and strive daily to purge out sin in our lives. Bringing order out of chaos perhaps we could say...all possible because of Christ.
Reminds me of this verse...
If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
2 Timothy 2:21
(Because sadly many today deceive people and say we don't need to do anything or strive to put away sin but just believe and we'll get to heaven...which is a lie from the father of lies satan himself.)
Let us not neglect our souls and lives and how we live. It is so easy if we did, to go downhill.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
1 Corinthians 15:33
Our love for the Lord, if it is what it should be, will help us overcome all things. Let it not wax cold, sisters.
Let us fight on sisters! And we can all press each other on in the true faith and exhort each other daily.
