One More Day in Christ

Good day in the Lord sisters!

I hope each of you are strong in the Lord this day! We can certainly be grateful for each day we have to glorify God in our lives as godly women. It's one more day having lived for the Lord and one day taken off our lives closer to eternity.

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."

Psalm 91:1-2

And let us sisters trust in the Lord and find our hope and rest in Him. We can absolutely trust that He is faithful and keeps His promises to His children. May we strive to be faithful to Him!

"If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him."

1 John 2:29

May we sisters be doers of righteousness.

"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves."

James 1:22

And abounding in good works...

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;"

Colossians 1:10

(Thank you faithful sister for sending me that picture!)

We know that meekness is to be a quality we are to have as believers. And we know as women we are to have a meek and quiet spirit which is highly valued with God.

So just a couple verses on that here for today. Even little reminders like this can edify and encourage us to ponder how we are each doing at that.

Rest for our souls...oh I love that!

And I shall leave you with this great passage...

"In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress."

Psalm 71:1-3

Amen, let us continually resort to our great God sisters!

Love in Christ our Redeemer,

...from a servant of God
