Daughters of the Most High God

Greetings in Christ,

How are the sisters who love the Lord and each other going? 

May we all be seeking after that which is eternal and that which is of God. And doing the Lord's will in our lives with grateful hearts. 

I read this last night.... 

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1

And today I was just thinking, as I was putting on my headcovering, how grateful I am to just be a daughter of God. Yes there's all kinds of people saying this and that about every aspect of a godly woman and they say we don't have to be like that but I just want to be a daughter of God and let the world and false believers say what they want. After all we are all going to answer to God and we are to fear Him. 

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:"

1 Peter 3:18

Praise God that we can come back to the Father through His Son and turn in repentance. 

"For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 

And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

Romans 8:13-18

And so for those women who have been born again by the gospel we go on to obey our Lord in all things. You can find the gospel explained here to test yourself to. 

We will be... 

Shamefaced

Discreet

Chaste

Keepers of the home

Dressed and covered biblically

Sober minded

Quiet and meek in spirit

Full of good works

And more. 

And much of her life might consist of these things. The world might laugh but that's OK. 

Raising and teaching children

Being a submissive wife and helper

Cooking food

Growing a garden

Washing clothes

Washing dishes

Sewing clothes

Cleaning and organising her home 

Looking after animals

Edifying other sisters

Labouring in the gospel

And so many other things. 

All spread out around the world the godly women are going about their business quietly and shining their lights. They are studying His Word and being prepared to give an answer to those that ask of the hope they have.

Appreciating God's creation... 

...and with His Word...

Sharing with sisters (either here on the blog or one on one via technology)... 

Or labouring in the gospel... 

And much more. Of course seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

OK sisters, daughters of the Most High God, that's about all from me for today. Let us rejoice to be who God made us to be and do those things that are pleasing to Him. And let us labour for Him as sisters in our roles, along with all the brothers that make up His family, around the world. God knows who all His children are. 

"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." 

1 Corinthians 6:20

"Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;" 

Philippians 1:27

So today I'm just happy to be a daughter of God. The world and those who don't love God can say whatever they want.

" For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." 

Matthew 12:50
