Greetings sisters!

How was today for you? I hope you were strong in the Lord and overcame all things.

The Lord gave me another day and I was able to do more sewing, cleaning, garden work, and animal care. Not to mention the other things which come along with seeking after the Lord like reading and pondering His Word, messaging a sister in the Lord I know of and then doing this blog.

(Thank you for sharing His Word with me sister!)

Amen how we need His truth in this dark world filled with lies and deception!

I love this picture....God's sunshine and the water He allows us to use growing good food for us to harvest.

It looks hopeful for a good crop of cabbages in the coming weeks. Well for now at least. A cow got in and ate a few so we shall see if we get some in the end. It seems the caterpillars are hungry too.

Well it's into May already! How quickly do the days go by!

Going back to speaking of gardening there is so much in scripture about such things as well as raising animals and other such simple things in life that are necessary for food etc.

And as sisters in the Lord who keep the home and do similar type things it's encouraging to think about how people lived and got along back then. There was much hard work done for sure without some of the things we have to help get things done today. It is a blessing to be able to focus on the things that matter, seeking first the kingdom of God, and then we know to be content with food and raiment. And we as Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 women who look to the Word for our instructions are often doing such simple things and we can rejoice in it.

And I share just a few scriptures on similar things to edify us all.

"For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

Isaiah 55:10-11

"Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness."
Acts 14:17

"They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him."
Psalm 126:5-6

"So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body."
1 Corinthians 15:42-44

Amen we are told to expect opposition and persecution for Christ's sake. And living in such a wicked world with the consequences of sin there is indeed much suffering....but if we endure and are truly born of God then we have such a great hope and promise to come of eternal life with God!

I got my bags set up on my shop today. And I took some pictures to show the size etc and what they may be good for.

OK I shall leave it there for now. Lord willing I shall be back here tomorrow.

Hold fast and strive on in the Lord's truth, sisters!

Love in Christ,

...from one of God's daughters
