Today's Edification (30 June 2024)

Salutations to my sisters in Christ!

I trust you're all pressing forward in the Lord our God! Holding faithfully to His truth in an almost faithless age. Let us be faithful to God unto death!

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

Colossians 1:2-5

I was pondering how we can and should be thankful for and in everything but that doesn't mean we trust in those things or don't know that everything is the Lord's and He can take them away again and we'll still be thankful to Him! The most thankfulness we should have is for Him and His Son who loved us and died for us! But yet we all still do have many extra blessings on top of that and important food and raiment and then so very much on top of that. Praise God for it all and may we not hold tightly to anything but Him and His Word!

Perhaps after God the most thing we can 'hold on to' if you want to put it that way could be saints. They can come with us to heaven if we all endure:-) But we also have to be ready to leave people if they fall into unrepentive sin or are found lacking and not in the truth. After all, God knows the hearts of all men and we really can't. We remember that we are responsible for ourselves and if that means we have to walk alone after Him so be it! If we compromise just to have others close around us we may all perish with them. That would be most foolish and a terrible mistake. Some may say, "Oh we cannot forsake the 'assembling of ourselves'!", but fail to see all the other commands they are breaking to do so in compromise. We have very much to discern in these last times indeed. Let us be very wise and test all things. The Lord will help us if we're truly willing and surrendered.

I was thinking about doubt too and how we don't want to have that do we sisters but have strong faith and trust in God!

And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
Matthew 14:31
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Luke 12:29
And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
Romans 14:23
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
1 Timothy 2:8

We know we are to have childlike faith and I don't know children who go around doubting and worrying about things really. Well they could but I'm sure you know what I mean:-) Their parents look after them and so our heavenly Father looks after us!

I was pondering on the question of "Is God enough?". Are we so completely satisfied in Him and to simply follow after Him the best we can? It's a good question to ponder and reset our mind on sometimes as we definitely do not want to be complaining about anything or be disatisfied with what His will is for us. May our Lord and Saviour be more than enough for us and we are truly richly blessed in Him! If He is enough, then we can truly thrive wherever we are and no matter what! Let us treasure this fact and precious hope we have of salvation to come! Let us go about our work, minding our own business, being at peace and being thankful and content to know the Lord!

I read some scriptures on truth to edify us here...

Always much in Psalm 119 to encourage us!

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant. Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Psalm 119:76-77
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word....It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Psalm 119:67,71
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Psalm 119:63

God's Word is always good!

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
James 5:8-9

The coming of our Lord draws near! And let us not be holding a grudge against anyone as the Judge stands before the door! We want to get all things right before it's too late. Let us keep searching our hearts and motives and may we ask the Lord to purify them as we work with Him.

And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Mark 11:25-26

Keep pressing on in the way, in the truth, and in the light! Worthy is the Lamb!

Godly love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (29 June 2024)

Greetings sisters!

I'm back on another day serving our great God and Saviour! It's always a good day to serve Him no matter what! And we are so rich in Him! Let us keep being thankful and content remembering the true riches that we have in Christ and laid up in heaven!

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Colossians 2:9-10
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:7
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
Hebrews 11:26

Let us remember who Jesus said are truly blessed (in Matthew 5)...

  • The poor in spirit
  • The mourners
  • The meek
  • The hungry and thirsty for righteousness
  • The merciful
  • The pure in heart
  • The peacemakers
  • The persecuted (for righteousness)
  • The reviled for His sake
  • The ones spoken evil of falsely for His sake

And these are the blessings of being so...

  • The kingdom of heaven
  • Comfort
  • Inherit the earth
  • Be filled with righteousness
  • Obtain mercy
  • See God
  • Be children of God
  • Great reward in heaven

I love all that! Praise God for the truth and that we can know it and follow after it with our whole heart!

A sister shared these scriptures the other day so I share them again here.

We can't be divided can we sisters. May we have a pure and sincere single heart for our Lord.

And I just have to share this scripture again because it's so good too!

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
James 3:17-18

God's ways are so amazingly good! Let's seek after them with all that we are. Would be a wonderful world if everyone had that wisdom from above. One day it will be.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:23-24

I was thinking how in these perilous times of great deception we need to define our terms in what we are talking about like when we share the gospel with someone. At the surface level it may look like someone agrees but when you test deeper the terms are different. I mean they may have a different Jesus or false doctrine (like once saved always saved), or think born again means baptism or something when it doesn't. So it may not be as simple as sharing the gospel may have been in the early days. We may have to question a lot to see if someone's beliefs line up with the truth. For example...

Do you believe in the Jesus who said you must repent (change your mind and turn to God away from sin) to enter the kingdom?

Do you believe in the Jesus who said you must be born again/born from above by the Spirit?

Do you believe in the Jesus who said He came to bring a sword/division and not peace?

Do you believe in the Jesus who was fully God and fully man?

Do you believe the Jesus who said abide in Him or be cut off and thrown into the fire?

Do you believe the Jesus that said if you love Him keep His commandments?

Do you believe the Jesus who said to hate our own life, take up our stake and follow Him?

Do you believe the Jesus who said IF you keep His commandments you abide in His love (not the Jesus who just loves everyone no matter what)?

Do you believe in the Jesus who said to endure unto the end to be saved?

And so on with many such questions and we know true belief leads to action. Someone may say oh yes of course I believe in Jesus and come to find out the one they believe is someone who doesn't even exist but in their own imagination and is practically a false god! Just like satan in the garden said "hath God said?"...these people may say..."did Jesus really say or mean that?". Perilous are the times aren't they sisters. If someone doesn't have the right Jesus...well everything else they do is really meaningless right sisters?! There's no point or use believing in a fake Jesus that cannot save! The true Saviour is our foundation and chief cornerstone! We better get that right!

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:11-12

Praise God for sending His Son to die for us! Let us learn of Him...

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Matthew 11:29

And He has gone to prepare a place for us but has not left us comfortless but sent the Comforter...the Spirit of truth!

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

John 14:16-19

Let us not do either of these...

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:30
Quench not the Spirit.
1 Thessalonians 5:19

Let us please Him instead.

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Ephesians 5:9-10

Let this also apply to us sisters in the ways of godly women...

And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.
Romans 15:14

I think that's what I have for you today. Hope it's edifying somehow! The Lord bless your day, sisters, and all you do in His name. Keep pressing on in the Lord and growing in grace and knowledge of God, going on unto perfection!

Love, peace, and joy in Christ,

Today's Edification (28 June 2024)

Greetings to my sisters around the earth!

I hope you're doing well in the Lord! He has His remnant daughters scattered all around the world and they're all facing the same things I'm sure, even though our lives are all different yet we're all still human and so much is the same in this world and in the Lord! He watches over His own that fear Him...brothers and sisters!

I like these two scripture passages...

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Exodus 14:13-14

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

2 Chronicles 20:17-18

And how it's encouraging for today too and how we can be still and wait on the Lord and be patient and trust in His will and perfect timing. I think it's just comforting knowing He is in control and is helping us.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Hebrews 13:6

There's so much in His Word to look in to. We may focus on one thing and then find we neglect something else. We don't want to do that but keep getting the whole picture of His Word (new testament especially) and reading it all!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:1

I love that and what a gracious God to let us not be under condemnation or wrath!

I was thinking about persevering today...in physical things mostly but of course we know we must in the faith also. We have to keep going at our work diligently even if we feel like giving up. Sometimes your life might allow you to do a bit of this and a bit of that so you can get used to doing what you feel like. And that's not always bad like in your home there's many different chores all of which need doing. But sometimes it's best to stick with one thing and work at it until it's done! Sometimes you have to like at a job. Then it's especially satisfying to be done too! I trust none of us feel like giving up in the faith but sometimes we may feel a little weary so we must keep fighting in the battle! We know there is nowhere else to go but to our Saviour but that doesn't mean we don't have a lot to do to not fall away or grow weary or lose our first love. We must press on to the end with zeal! I plan to and I hope you all do too! Nothing in this world is worth anything really and we truly believe that God is true and has promised eternal life for those who love Him! And we know we love Him if we obey Him.

Keep pressing on in the one and true faith that was once delivered to the saints, sisters! Not all the other false faiths (even so called Christian ones) that are abounding in these last days. The Lord is coming back soon...are we ready?

Let us make sure we are ready for His coming and not like those who want the mountains and rocks to fall on them to hide from the Lamb's wrath.

And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
1 John 2:28

May we be ready to go forth to meet the bridegroom like the five wise virgins (and obviously be ready to meet our Maker at our death which could happen at any moment.)

And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
Matthew 25:6-7

Let us also love His appearing...

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:8

And look for Him...

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Hebrews 9:28

And wait for Him!

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 1:10

He is coming! Every eye will see Him including those who reject the truth today. Every knee will bow...to Jesus! He is King of kings and Lord of lords. What a joy to serve Him today!

Some flowers for my sisters...

Stand strong through Christ and His Spirit!

Love to all in Him,

Sister Chayil

Pumpkin Hot Drink

Greetings sisters!

Today I'm sharing yet another pumpkin recipe. I guess you could call this similar to a pumpkin chai or something but anyway whatever it is I'm sharing it.

Add a heaped tablespoon of pumpkin puree to a mug.

As well as 1/2-1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice mix.

(I make that myself with 1 Tbsp cinnamon and 1 tsp each of ground ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Or make a larger batch if you like.)

Add sweetener (I am using a stevia sweetener tablet in the picture) and usual boiling water and some milk. You can add more pumpkin if you would like it thicker.

There's so many things you can make with pumpkin...which is often paired with spices so the two seem to go together.

I would make one for all of God's children around the world if I could:-)

Today's Edification (27 June 2024)

Greetings to my godly sisters in Christ Jesus!

Coming back to you in His name! There is no other name whereby we must be saved! Outside of Him we can do nothing and all is vanity.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Philippians 2:10
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 5:20
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:17

It's all about Him! The true Jesus that is.

This will be a catching up post from the last few days today. Most importantly I am striving on in the Lord and thankful for various good works to keep occupied in. One of those being writing to you here:-) I appreciate being able to do that and I hope you're edified/built up and encouraged one way or another! All good, pure, and true things here...for His glory!

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8

Another pretty rainbow yesterday. Thankful the grass is greening up now too! And all the plants are being watered.

Nice seeing the fresh new shoots coming up in the sunshine...

For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
Mark 4:28

So much variety in what He made!

Got to spray some of the aphids with a soap mix...so let's see what happens (if anything, but hopefully)!

See that huge nest high in the tree? Yeah it's a rat nest...yuck.

Yeah they do this to trees too...chew off the bark...

Such is life in this world with various pests and things we have to try to take dominion over if we can.

God gave that job to mankind...
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:28

It's interesting to look up those words in the Hebrew...subdue and dominion.

This is just a good reminder as you go about your day...

Holiness...we know it's essential as no one will see God without it. And we know the Spirit God gives us is His Holy Spirit and the word saint also means holy so it's a very important concept!

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Hebrews 12:14

I liked seeing the grain on the pumpkin, like wood grain sort of...

Natural chicken population is increasing around here...

Looks pretty but it is creating the usual fights and things. It may look peaceful but chickens seem to fight a lot! The 'pecking order' I guess and then roosters love to as well. But we sisters don't fight! We know that is a major sin of the flesh if we do.
But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
James 3:14-16
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1 Corinthians 3:3
Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Philippians 2:3
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;...strife.
(Galatians 5:19-20)
Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Romans 13:13-14

It's quite amazing how much there is on a subject. More than you realize sometimes. The opposite would be peacemakers and we know we are to be that! Let's be peaceful sisters.

I left while it was still dark this morning for a large cleaning job. But there was nice moonlight!

The house I cleaned was near the ocean...

That picture's from a 30 second stop on the way by! Couldn't really stop and appreciate it at all but I get to with you in the picture! I always think if you agree to be somewhere at a certain time it has to be right on the exact minute you agreed to so I try to do that! Reminds me of these scriptures although of course sometimes things are outside of our control...
But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.
Matthew 5:37

Sun was rising as I cleaned...

Nice ocean view from the second story of the house...

No I couldn't stop and appreciate it either! Have to keep going on the task at hand.

And another quick 30 second peek at the ocean on the way back...

And another equally quick peek here...

So beautiful! There's always so much in His creation to see one way or another. Well we know it's out there! So incredible. Glory to the Creator!

This was my sunset window view while working on my blog...

Amazing too!

Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.

From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.

The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.

Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
Psalm 113:2-5
Amen!

I guess that's all from me for today sisters! I hope your godly woman's works are going well and you keep searching the scriptures to find the truth or be encouraged to keep going in the truth! Hold fast and strive on sister soldier saints!

Today's Edification (26 June 2024)

Salutations to my godly sisters!

I hope this next post finds you well and striving on in the Lord, walking in truth and light and hope and peace and joy! In the Lord...we are most blessed!

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Psalm 32:10-11

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23:6

Mercy is such a precious gift. No wonder we're so rich! And since the Lord shows mercy on us may we richly give it to others too!

I love this scripture too...

And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee: I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.
Genesis 32:9-10

Just as we don't deserve God's mercy, others around us also may not 'deserve' our mercy either but let us remember God's perfect example and follow/imitate Him! His ways are always good. And we are nothing.

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Ephesians 5:1-2

Just a short post today but that's fine too! I had other good works to do in my day and I'm sure you did too! I hope all your Titus 2 godly women's works are going well and also your growth in the Lord as you ponder, read and study and then obey the Word! That is our endurance as we strive to abide in Christ bearing fruit with patience! There's so much to dig into in His Word we'll never run out I'm sure!

Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Deuteronomy 7:9
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 14:23-24

If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.

1 Corinthians 16:22-24

Press on in the truth my sisters...wherever you are around the world! Hold fast until He comes. Stand strong! Be courageous! Watch!

Love in Christ,

Sister Chayil

Today's Edification (25 June 2024)

Greetings sister saints!

The Lord gave us another day to have the breath of life! His mercies are new and He is good and faithful and loving to His children who fear and serve Him! What a blessing to know and follow Him, amen sisters?!

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

Psalm 89:14-16

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
Psalm 33:12

Amen sisters! We are a holy nation, a peculiar people and we are blessed in Him!

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

1 Peter 2:9-10

This is a cause for great rejoicing for us Gentiles....

Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.

And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:8-13

Ponder and rejoice in His great grace on us Gentiles and let us not receive His grace in vain or believe in vain but strive on!

That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Ephesians 2:12-14

Let our lights be burning...

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

Luke 12:34-37

Let's keep watching and occupying in good works til He comes sisters!

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:11-13

Praise God for that sisters and let us not take this precious gift of being born into His family lightly!

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3

Despite what anyone says about me...I believe God's Word and that we must become His children, being born from above! I love and live by all of God's precious Word of truth!

In fact, we are born through the Word of truth...

Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
James 1:18

But one thing I am standing on, is as the Word says, that it is God's will not man's will or doing! Now we must believe and repent and obey and be converted and live righteous and endure to the end and many more things within all those of course! We must live by every word of God and because we are blessed with unrestricted access to His Word we shall all be without excuse. We are to do much...but not birth ourselves into His family!

I'm always ready to give an answer to the reason of the hope within me...with meekness and fear. I submit to God's Word and fear Him to never go outside or deny what it most clearly says. A few things are a little unclear...but not this fact of needing to be reborn! I stand on that!

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

1 Peter 3:15-18

Keep pressing on sisters...no matter what! Look to our Saviour who endured much contradiction of sinners against Himself. Ponder the depths of Him suffering...the just for the unjust. Ponder Him dying while we were yet sinners. Ponder Him silently being falsely accused when He could have said it all! He committed Himself to Him who judges righteously and so must we sisters!

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

1 Peter 2:21-24

One thing I notice is that whenever someone tries to in any way oppose the truth you stand for...it always ends up making you stronger! Not sure if you understand what I mean but probably you've experienced it but instead of tearing you down you see how false what the people are saying are and with the Word and the Lord on your side you can be strong! After all the Word is part of our Ephesians 6 armour!

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Ephesians 6:17

I'm blessed with somewhat of a quieter life sometimes which gives me a lot of time to just be in the Word, no outside input from man. The internet is no place for theology as the deception and confusion abounds there. A phone is a great asset in studying the Word as word studies and definitions and listening to the Word as well as reading all helps! We've all got so far to go in our knowledge of the Word...and we'll never get where we know it all perfectly. One day we will be with The Word, Jesus Christ Himself!

We do not want to get so hung up on how exactly you say something that we end up being like this...straining at a gnat (and striving about precious truths).

Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Matthew 23:24-26

This is not what we want to experience...

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Luke 13:28-30

Or this...

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Luke 13:24-25

May we be humble and low, poor in spirit knowing we do not deserve to enter but trusting in Him to save us. His grace is amazing and His goodness so very great. Let that all lead us to repentance (ongoing) as we remember His severity also.

I heard this scripture and it's just interesting to ponder.

The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Luke 16:16

Because there's various heresies around concerning such things (like people teaching the law and also saying the kingdom isn't for today or something, I don't know!)

Let's keep seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness sisters!

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Colossians 1:12-14

Hold fast to sound doctrine and the faith once delivered!

Much love in Christ,

Sister Chayil
