Sharing My Day of Sunshine and Scripture Edification

Greetings this day sisters!

It's been a beautiful sunny ☀ day here; another day to serve our God!

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:28-29

How are you sisters going wherever you are? I'm know some of you up north are getting cold and heading into winter. Hope the sunshiny pictures here warm you up a bit:-) I also share some verses on the Lord being our helper (or similar). Hope those edify and encourage you too. Much to ponder in them and trust Him in our lives. And I share more of the Father's creation from my day. Glory to Him for all things! None to man.

Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

Psalm 115:1

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psalm 28:7

But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Psalm 37:39-40

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!

Isaiah 31:1

For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

Isaiah 50:7

What a great God we have to serve sisters! May we rest in Him and He will help us.

There's so many beautiful flower creations!

And here's a tiny little pretty butterfly on some...

Sunshine and Titus 2...

I'm thankful for physical and spiritual food...

And three more little calves arrived to feed. So cute!

And I share the pretty sunset...

My day is almost over. And the sun will shine on you sisters across the world. Even if it's cloudy, the sun is always shining.

God's amazing creations.

Thank you sister for sending the scripture pictures:-)

Long suffering, kindness, and unfeigned love...all things we also want to have as fruits of the Spirit.

That's all from me today sisters. And we only have today so let's see if the Lord has another day for us to serve Him. But we get this moment to live for Him and be thankful. What a great responsibility and joy it is to bear His name as Christians. Let us not bring reproach on Him nor walk unworthily but strive to be blameless for our holy God.

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Ephesians 5:20-21

Separated Unto Our God

Greetings in the Lord sisters!

Hope today is going well for you and praise God we each have another day to choose to live for Him and not ourselves! What a great choice with great eternal consequences. Let us be sober minded and make sure we are not being deceived. Praise God for the hope to come if we follow and obey Him! That is such a blessing to be set apart for Him, bought with a price!

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

I love that! What a great promise for those who have 'come out from among them'! That means we aren't like them doesn't it. Even though we are in the world we are not of it are we sisters! And we don't want to be.

I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:15-17

We might be quietly keeping our homes or doing business out in the world but in so many ways we are not like the world. We're pilgrims and strangers after all! We don't value what they do, we don't entertain as they do, we don't dress as they do, or talk like, or read what they do and so much more. We are not better than anyone but we have a changed heart through the Spirit of God! The hope is there for all...if they want to come.

I want to include a note in here about Halloween that we see going on around us in these days. Not that my sisters have anything to do with it, but it's a warning for those women who may have children or who just may be reading who may be seeking truth or know of others who claim Christ and yet say it's good to participate in this wicked event. And it's encouraging for all of us to be strengthened in the truths of God's Word. How refreshing it is to be set free from so many things the world lives for and values! I'd rather not talk about Halloween but since the world insists on doing it we can warn people about it along with the many other ways of the world we will avoid if we are the Lords.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Galatians 5:19-25

Praise God for telling us what are of the flesh and that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. (Halloween would surely fit in that group of things too...and it also says 'such like' things.). Don't we hear and know that so many people say and believe that sinners will be allowed into heaven. But His Word is clear and I'm glad we don't need to be deceived. It says what it says.

A sister and I sometimes talk about how easy we have it today as compared to the Old Testament times. In many ways we do have it easier, but in a way it's more complex too compared to the simple lives they lived back then often focused around simply living. But the main thing we remind ourselves of is that we are not commanded today to kill those around us who are living in sin. Instead we are told to separate from them, avoiding fellowship and eating with them (if they claim to be of Christ yet live in sin and false doctrines). And people have a hard time just physically/spiritually separating when it's way easier than what was commanded in the past. We see the seriousness of sin from it all though.

You might like to go and read in the OT (perhaps in Exodus 32 or Deuteronomy 13), if you are ever discouraged about it being a hard thing to do in this life (separating from sin). How merciful and gracious is our God...but we know there is a time of recompense coming and the sinners will not escape. He is longsuffering giving them a long time to repent before then. He was long suffering with us sisters wasn't He! Glory to Him! And we get to carry that same hope of the gospel to others!

We also don't want to forget Jesus' words for those who lead others astray...

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Mark 9:42

That can go along with Halloween too...especially as it involves children being encouraged to be involved and led astray. Others are watching us so we want to be sure we are blameless in the truth.

Let's share some simple things sisters...

And here's some mulberry chia pudding I made from the mulberries...

Praise God for all the many things He provides us!

Thank you sister for adding the scripture to my picture. And another sister for sharing this scripture. What a blessing to share and communicate daily.

I love that scripture. Humility...that's what God wants in us sisters. Let us trust Him and not worry about things that we shouldn't.

OK I must go now sisters! Let us strive to be obedient to our holy God and be set apart unto Him separating from things He tells us to. Until tomorrow Lord willing sisters, hold fast and strive on!

Love to you all,

Sister Michaela

Simple Sister Edification

Hello sisters!

A new day is here! And nearly over for me by now. Such is the cycle of life that God set the sun and moon in place to give us days and nights and seasons. What an awesome creation it all is!

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Genesis 1:14-19

And today it's still doing what it all was created to do! And we look forward to the time when we won't need the sun or moon but the Lord Himself will be our light!

Hope you are all doing well sisters!

We sisters are preparing for however the Lord may use us and what a precious gift we have in being able to read His Word...and have it to give to others. We hide God's Word in our hearts don't we sisters. And why?

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 119:11

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

I love those verses! And this one...

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

1 Peter 3:15

Sometimes we can just read these familiar scriptures and think we know all they are saying but to focus on each word freshens it in our minds again and there's so much to ponder in them all. What great treasures are in His Word!

I came across this verse today...

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Proverbs 28:9

And it reminded me of all the people these days also who are not hearing the full truth of God's Word and Christ's law, just taking or following what they want to. But we sisters are willing to take it all, the hard and the easy, the comfortable and the uncomfortable, of what we are commanded to do. It's surrendering our lives and wills to God, dying to self and sin, being alive in Christ!

And some more great verses to ponder from that chapter...

He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

Proverbs 28:26

Right we don't want to do that. We want to trust the Lord and His Word and what He says.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Proverbs 28:13

Oh right yes sisters...that reminds me of coming to the light. We don't want to hide in any darkness...but confess it all to the Lord...and forsake it! And He is so merciful to forgive if we do that!

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 3:20-21

------------------------------

I'm thankful for the provision of cabbages...

To use in making good foods to sustain us..

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18

And I took you with mulberry picking. (And you can listen to the peaceful birds too)...

And over an hour's work of picking...

A sister on the other side of the world popped in to message me while I was picking. I told her what I was doing and she said she'd help me pick if she could:-) That would make it go faster and be a good Titus 2 thing to do together.

I have turned the mulberries into frozen ones and I hope to make mulberry chia pudding soon too.

We are very blessed with plenty to eat...and a great deal of variety too! Praise our God!

Well sisters that's what I have to share today. Glory be to our great God for all He has done for us! How can we not give our lives in service to Him! I hope to be back tomorrow...if the Lord wills! Hold fast in the faith sisters!

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the Lord.

Psalm 106:48

Love to you in Christ,

Sister Michaela

Take Heed

Hello sisters!

How are you today! Wherever we sisters are on this earth we know the Lord is always with us. What a comfort that is! We don't need to 'go somewhere', or pay huge sums of money to access what is freely available to us! But we have to have a willing heart of course to believe in all that this life in Christ means. Reminds me of what the woman at the well said to Jesus, about where her fathers worshipped (in the mountains) and where the Jews worshipped (at Jerusalem)...and what Jesus' response was to her.

Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:21-24

And so today...the Father seeks those to worship Him in spirit and truth. What a blessing we have sisters! Let us treasure this gift and not take it lightly!

I had some scriptures to share here and decided to make an audio with them instead. We're blessed to have so many different ways to share, encourage, and edify one another. And we do the best we can. And it's first of all to be for God's glory (which would include being biblical and faithful to His truth and shining our light). Secondly, to bless the sisters, and also it is a good discipline for me and I learn much.

I give glory to God because I couldn't do this without having such a great God and Saviour and His Word to write about. And also I don't always have words, but I press on. I am blessed to be able to share audios too more recently. A sister encouraged me in that by sending audios to each other...and even though it was a strange thing to do at first (because I hadn't done anything like it before) the love of God and the brethren helped overcome that. We can't always stay in our comfort zones if we are striving for the kingdom of God. Sometimes maybe, but other times not. And we want to keep growing as none of us doesn't have any more to learn of course! And we don't have to be perfect at something to be used or be a blessing to others. We all have our role in the body of Christ and it won't all be the same but we all do our part...none are to be lazy or self-absorbed. The saints all help each other to grow and be built up into whatever ministry they may have.

I'm encouraged by who Paul was...or John the Baptist. Not polished or pleasing to men but powerfully used of God. He often uses who the world despises.

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1-5

So here's that audio with scriptures. I hope it edifies you, my sisters. It's a few scriptures that tell us to 'take heed'. We know we need to do that in our lives don't we.

(And thank you sister for the pictures to share.)

So that's my post for today with some edification and encouragement for my sisters. So let us all be on guard, watching, ready, holding fast to the truth, striving on...each day until the END!

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

1 Timothy 4:16

Another Day the Lord Gave

Hello sisters!

Hope you are all well and strong in the faith! Here I am back with another day...to edify and encourage you sisters.

According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

Philippians 1:20

I love that! Boldness too...that's something we all need in this deceived world; boldness for Christ, His truth, and obedience to all His commands. I know it's something I have needed to grow in and still do no doubt. Being bold to stand up for His truth and die for Him. As a brother often says, how will we ever die for Christ when tribulation comes if we aren't obeying Him in everything today, daily, killing our own desires, and doing things that we don't want to do in our flesh.

We see so many running around and taking teachings from this teacher and that, not testing them thoroughly to the Word, nor inspecting the fruit of their lives, and not rejecting them when they find error and heresy.

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1 Corinthians 5:6-8

I love that...sincerity and truth.

Let us keep up our fight against sin...knowing if we allow a bit of leaven (sin) in to either our own lives or the body of Christ...then we no longer have what we should...a pure holy bride of Christ.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:2-3

We don't want our minds corrupted from the simplicity in Christ do we sisters. So let's cling to the Word with the truth in it.

And we can go on in childlike faith in God and the truths of His Word!

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Luke 18:16-17

So many make it complex. Or try to seek it with man's wisdom and logic...but we know it's by faith.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

And some more of God's creations to give Him glory for.

Ibis flying to their roost for the night....

The sun goes down on my day...

We look forward to the time when the glory of the Lord will be our light!

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Revelation 21:23-25

Let us sisters make sure we are preparing for that place...seeking first God's kingdom and righteousness, washed in the blood of the Lamb, born of His Spirit, obeying Him, and overcoming in Him!

Thank you sister for adding the scriptures on these pictures:-)

That's an appropriate scripture to go along with what I was just saying. I was just putting this all together and didn't plan it that way...so that's awesome. Praise God...He is light! We will have no need of the light of the sun!

What a great God we get to serve!

And thank you for sharing scriptures with me sisters.

There's so much packed into that scripture! So let us flee sin and follow after God's ways, fighting the fight of faith as sister soldiers!

Amen sisters!

OK so that's what I have for this day sisters! Lord willing I'll be sharing back here tomorrow. You strive on sisters! He is worthy!

I love you sisters.

Edification for October 26

Hello again sisters!

I'm back here to share a few more things to edify you.

Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

Romans 14:19

I was washing dishes today and the glass I was washing broke in my hands so it took a little chunk out my hand so I can't type the best today so I made you an audio. I read some of Proverbs 31 to edify you godly women.

(And I think my hand will heal fine but it just makes me so very thankful for what I had before...and hopefully again when the body God made heals itself:-)

A sister shared 2 John 1:10-11 (and I add a few more verses).

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2 John 1:8-11

And how we have to be careful that we don't allow our emotions to affect what God's Word says. You can go look up the Greek of what those things mean. We have to be careful that we don't accommodate or be a partaker in false teachers bringing false doctrines. And in so doing we hope they will see the grave error of their ways and repent!

I wrote to you how I was able to reach out and share the gospel with that Jehovah's Witness woman. And then she said she wanted to hear back from me...

And she did hear from me...but I didn't hear from her. And after awhile I reached out again and then again asking if she was well and sharing more truth. But I think it's evident she doesn't want it. But she got truth and hope...if she is willing and repents. And we move on.

And as I shared about the Hebrew Root woman awhile ago and how she ended communicating with me, not wanting truth...

So we can share the hope of the gospel with people, and it's up to them what they do with it. Some might get angry, or go silent and ignore you but either way God is glorified and His truth does what it does and we are to be faithful. And it's a precious rare thing when someone will seek and listen to truth...and then be transformed by the gospel and follow in all their ways, willing to lose it all for Christ. I'm thankful for all my sisters who do just that! And share that truth that changed them with others as well as loving the brethren!

And I share a glass of cold water for you sisters!

You realize how much of a blessing something as simple as that is when you are really thirsty and can't get to water right away. We're so blessed to have water

And share a cup of tea too! Just simple things to share together with you sisters as best we can long distance:-)

If we were all together we would share and serve one another in the fellowship of the Lord...but it's nice to have communication via technology too.

Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
1 Peter 3:8

Tomatoes coming along in the garden...

What a blessing to watch things grow to produce good foods in time (as long as no creature comes along and eats it or something:-).

Reminds me of this...waiting patiently.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

James 5:7-8

That's encouraging!

OK I must go now sister saints. Hope you are striving on in the true faith of the gospel!

Let us be.......

Patient
Content
Humble
Obedient
Holy
Righteous
Thankful
Virtuous
Sober
Merciful
Loving

...and everything else pleasing to the Father!

Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

1 Thessalonians 4:1

Love in Christ,

Sister Michaela
